Maude Stewart Ray, 86, of Biscoe, died Saturday, March 07, 2015 at FirstHealth Moore Regional . A private burial will be held at a later date. Mrs. Ray was born in Randolph County to Tommy Nathan and Hattie Mae Asbill Stewart. She worked as an inspector for hosiery manufacturing. Surviving are sons, Mitchell Johnson of Virginia, Tom Johnson of North Myrtle Beach, SC; daughters, Sue Davis of Ellerbe, Flora Strickland of Candor; brother, Thomas "Jack" Stewart of Robbins; sisters, Doris Goodwin of Biscoe, Bonnie Goodwin of Biscoe, Irene Warner of Biscoe; 7 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren. A private burial will be held at a later date.
