Robbins - Max Robert Latham, 50, of 672 East Forest Drive, died Monday, February 14, 2011, at his residence. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, February 17, 2011, at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Martin E. Davis and Rev. Thurman Williams officiating. Interment will be in Leach Cemetery. He was born in Montgomery County to Carven Eames Latham, who preceded him in death, and Joyce Marie Burroughs Latham. He was a farmer. Surviving are his wife, Garon Lewis Latham, of the home; son, Jeremy Robert Latham, of the home; daughters, Lisa Latham McBride, of Star, Atisha Marie Carrillo and husband, Oscar, of Robbins; mother, Joyce Burroughs Latham, of Star; sister, Deborah Dawn Beane, of Star; seven grandsons. The family will receive friends from 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM, Wednesday, February 16, 2011, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star and other times at the home.
