Mildred Faye Shue Lewis

Biscoe - Mildred Faye Shue Lewis, age 61, passed away Friday, June 30, 2017, at her home.

Mrs. Lewis was born in Stanly County to Larry Dale and Sarah Pauline (Bailey) Shue. She was a former clerk at Murphy’s Gas. Her father preceded her in death.

She is survived by her husband, Johnny Ray Lewis, Sr., of the home; three daughters, Melissa Cagle of Biscoe, Sandra Lewis of Biscoe and Samantha Kern of Biscoe; one son, Johnny Ray Lewis, Jr. of Whiteville; mother, Sarah Pauline Bailey Shue, of Anson County; two sisters, Linda Cook and Angela Dawn Johnson; one brother, Bobby Gene Shue of Mt. Gilead; and six grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, July 2, at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel, 216 South Main Street, Star with the Rev. Billy Chriscoe officiating.
