Mildred Louise Williams Christy

Troy - Mildred Louise Williams Christy, age 81, passed away Saturday, December 23, 2017, at Sandy Ridge Assisted Living in Candor.

Mrs. Christy was born in Cabarrus County on November 23, 1936 to David Daniel and Myrtle (Morris) Williams. She was a retired school system custodian.

She is survived by two daughters, Brenda Gail Blake and husband, Kenneth, of Troy, and Tammie Greene and husband, Edward, of Biscoe; one son, Billy Wayne Moose of Kannapolis; two grandchildren, Brandon Watson and Lisa Barrett; and two great-grandchildren, Savannah Barrett and Gabriel Barrett.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 27, at 11:00 am at Kannapolis Cemetery, 700 West C Street, with the Rev. Harold Pope officiating.
