Star - Mitchel Cagle Dunn, 88, of 119 Clay Drive, died Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at Autumn Care of Biscoe. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, November 23, 2012, at Dover Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Don Davis officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Dunn was born on June 15, 1924 in Moore County to Carl C. and Annie Jane Spivey Cagle. She was a homemaker and chicken farmer. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Howard Dunn. She is survived by her sons, Jerry Dunn of Star, Tommy Dunn and wife, Helen, of Biscoe, Phillip Dunn and wife, Carol, of Star, Randy Dunn and wife, Jolley, of Biscoe, Donald Dunn and wife, Terri, of Star; daughter, Brenda Stidham and husband, Billy, of Bolivia; sister, Lula Davis, of Star; 12 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Thursday, November 22, 2012, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star and other times at the residence.
