Mitchell Ray Beane

Mr. Mitchell Ray Beane, Sr., 59, of 1324 Black Ankle Rd. , Star, died Saturday, April 2, 2011 at his residence. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, April 4, at Big Oak Church of God, Black Ankle Road, Star, with the Rev. Tim Beck and Rev. Billy Chriscoe officiating. Interment, with military honors provided by Randolph Co. Honor Guard, will be in the church cemetery. Mr. Beane was born in Moore County to Thomas and Pearl Beane Beane. He was a retired equipment operator and was a veteran of the U. S. Army. Mr. Beane was a member of Randolph Co. Honor Guard. Surviving are his Son: Mitchell Ray Beane, Jr. Star, NC Daughter: Wendy Browning and husband, Donald, High Point, NC Step-Daughter: Tracy Vaughters, Siler City, NC Brothers: Ralph Beane and wife, Wilma,, Star, NC Hobert Beane and wife, Wilma, Star, NC Gurney Beane and wife, Deborah, Star, NC Two Sisters: Hazel Sanders, Asheboro, NC Frances Dunn, Star, NC Special Friend: Betty Stone, Star, NC Grandchildren: Maggie Browning and Jaxon Browning (due in May) Nine step-grandchildren The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Sunday, April 03, 2011, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star.
