Mitzi M. Kivett Star - Mitzi Morrow Kivett, 48, of 161 Depot Street, died Wednesday, December 3, 2008, at Stanly Regional Medical Center in Albemarle. Memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, December 5, 2008, at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. George Bradshaw and the Rev. Carl Burrow officiating. She was born in Montgomery County, a 1978 graduate of West Montgomery High School, and was the manager of Carriage House in Star. She is survived by her husband, Peter Kivett, of the home; daughter, Charity Ann Kivett, of the home; parents, Kenneth Bagley and Peggy Brock Morrow, of Mt. Gilead; sister Cyndi Morrow and husband, William, of Cherry Point; brother, Scott Morrow and wife, Jennifer, of Mt. Gilead; niece, Courtney Pappas, of Jackson Springs; nephew, Paco Barfield, of Norwood. The family will receive friends from 2 - 4 p.m. prior to the service at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star. Arrangements are by Phillips Funeral Home in Star.
