Morris Ray Odom

Star - Morris Ray Odom, 62, of Williamson Road, died Tuesday, November 4, 2014, at Randolph Hospital. A graveside service will be held at 4:00 PM, Sunday, November 9, 2014, at Big Oak Church of God Cemetery with the Rev. Billy Ray Chriscoe and Rev. Chris Boyd officiating. Mr. Odom was born in Montgomery County to Clarence M. and Zella Williamson Odom. He was retired from Maynard's Frame Shop and was a volunteer for Montgomery County Meals on Wheels. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Garland, Dempsey, and Willard Odom. He is survived by his son, Keith Odom, of Fort Lee, Virginia; daughter, Dana Odom, of Star; brothers, Floyd and Clarence Junior Odom, both of Star; sisters, Bertie Shofe of Carolina Beach, Thelma Williams of Troy, Faye Roberts of Star, Ella Pritchard of Denton; four grandchildren, Zander, Zoe, Logan, and Jayden. The family will receive family and friends prior to the graveside service from 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM, Sunday, November 9, 2014, at Big Oak Church of God.
