Myrtle Garner Freeman

Star - Myrtle Garner Freeman, 79, of 187 Tarry Church Road, died Wednesday, November 16, 2011, at her residence. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 19, 2011, at Dover Baptist Church, where she was a member, with Dr. Don Davis and the Rev. Thomas Farrell Hussey officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Freeman was born in Moore County to Miller and Cora Hussey Garner. She was a retired hosiery mill employee. Surviving are her husband, Enoch Jason "E. J." Freeman, Jr., of the home; daughter, Linda Monroe and husband, Gerald, of Aberdeen; son, Rev. Dr. R. J. Freeman, of Star; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 19, 2011, at Dover Baptist Church.
