Nancy Batten Davis

Biscoe - Nancy Batten Davis passed away on Monday, January 25, 2021, at Autumn Care in Biscoe. Nancy was born in Montgomery County on September 2, 1935 to Elsa Blaine Batten and Mary S. Batten Goodman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney Davis and son, Steve Davis. Nancy was a graduate of Biscoe High School and worked as a secretary at Springs Industries in Biscoe, Troy Lumber Sales in Norman and Sandhill Turf in Candor. She was a lifelong member of Biscoe Presbyterian Church, where she was a faithful choir director for many years. She is survived by her daughter, Sherry Lambert and grandson, Tryon Lambert, of the home; great-grandson, Taylon Blaine Lambert; and brother, Gary Batten (Ann) of Candor. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, a private family graveside service will be held. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Biscoe Presbyterian Church, PO Box 638, Biscoe, NC 27209. Online condolences may be left at www.phillipsfh.com.
