Nannie Dunlap Brewer Rollings

Seagrove - Nannie Dunlap Brewer Rollings, 85, died on Sunday, April 25, 2010, at FirstHealth Hospital in Pinehurst. Nannie was born on September 17, 1924, to Daniel A. Dunlap and Nora Belle Maness Dunlap in the Westmoore Community of Moore County. She married Lonnie Brewer at an early age and settled in the Dover Church Community of Moore County to raise her four sons. After Lonnie's death in 1976, she married Reverend William S. Rollings and moved to South Carolina. Nannie worked at the Biscoe Savings and Loan for many years and operated an Income Tax Preparation Business for more than 60 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, her sons, Henry Martin Brewer and Lonnie Stephen Brewer; sister, Mary Jane Cockman of Robbins; brother, Bill Dunlap, of Carthage. She is survived by her sons, Robert D. Brewer and his wife, Betsy Shields Brewer, of Greensboro, John Franklin Brewer and wife, Judy Brown Brewer, of Oxford; daughter-in-law and best friend, Hope Brinkley Brewer, of Seagrove; sister, Lynnie Kate Comer, of Seagrove; brothers, Daniel C. Dunlap of Carthage, Max O. Dunlap of Robbins; 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; stepchildren, William M. Rollings of Lancaster, SC, Odessa Moree of Pageland, SC, and Reverend James Hazel Rollings and wife, Sissy, of Landis. The funeral services will be held at Dover Baptist Church, where she was a member, on Wednesday, April 28, 2010, at 2 p.m. The visitation will be at the church beginning at l:00 p.m. Internment will follow in the church cemetery.
