Noah Harrison Reeder

Troy - Noah Harrison Reeder, age 91, passed away Saturday, February 8, 2020, at FirstHealth Montgomery Memorial Hospital in Troy. Mr. Reeder was born in Randolph County on April 27, 1928, to Russell and Leslie Mae Phillips Reeder. He was retired from Capel Rug Mill. He was the oldest living member of the Reeder family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Verdie Lucille Bailey Reeder, and daughter, Martha Bailey Morgan. He is survived by his daughters, Crystal Reeder (Chris James) of Troy, Sylvia Groves (Terry) of Charlotte, and Brenda Reeder Cardona of Jackson Springs; son, Randy Reeder of Candor; sister, Minnie Reeder Kinney (Frank) of Randleman; seven grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Monday, February 10, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 11, at 2:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Hubert McLeod officiating. Interment will follow in Southside Cemetery in Troy.
