Patricia Cagle Ray

Patricia Cagle Ray, age 81, of Seagrove, passed away on July 9, 2024, at her residence.

Patricia was born in Moore County on February 25, 1943, to Lindsey and Josie Hancock Cagle. She graduated from Westmore Highschool in 1961 and was the valedictorian of her class and later on she supported her husband in their pottery business.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Paul Gordon Ray Sr.; sisters Mable Simmons and Anne Ziegler.

She is survived by her son Paul G. Ray Jr.(Evelyn) of Seagrove and sister Linda Cagle of Seagrove. As well as two grandchildren, five great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 14, 2024, at Union Grove Baptist Church at 4:00 pm with Rev. Dr. Ron Chaney officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
