Robbins- Patty Allred Maness, age 71, passed away on Monday, August 23, 2021, at her home.
Mrs. Maness was born in Randolph County on May 29, 1950, to Eugene and Edith Pearl Davis Allred. She was retired from Energizer.
Patty was an amazing mother, grammy, sister, and friend. She was a rock for many and the glue that held everything together. If you had a question, you could ask her and if she didn’t know she would make sure to find out for you. She loved to spoil her grandbabies and anyone else who was her family and friend. Patty was one of the strongest ladies that her family and friends knew, and she was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, David Maness, and daughter Janet Maness.
She is survived by sons, Bradley Maness (Tiffany) of Robbins and Jason Maness of Robbins; sisters, Louise Scott (John) of Robbins, Maxine McDonald (Monroe) of Seagrove, Juanita Green (Johnnie) of Robbins; and brother, Richard Allred (Doris) of Apex. Grandchildren; Catherine Maness, Colten Maness, Lydia Maness and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 26 at Phillips Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 27 at Dover Baptist Church at 10:00 a.m. with the Rev. Bryan Maness and Rev. James Valk officiating.
