Paul Ray McLeod

Star - Paul Ray McLeod, age 73, died Wednesday, October 25, 2017, at First Health Hospice and Palliative Care in Pinehurst.

Mr. McLeod was born on December 24, 1943 in Montgomery County to Walter Angus and Mary Beulah (Jackson) McLeod. He was a veteran of the US Army, a supervisor with Uwharrie Lumber, and was a mason at Biscoe Masonic Lodge # 437 AF & AM. He was a member of Macedonia Presbyterian Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his brothers, Clyde, David, Claude, Charles, and Donald.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Leach McLeod, of the home; one daughter, Angie Kantor and husband, Todd, of Foxfire; step-daughter, Fran Singleton and husband, Nick, of Greenville; sister, Jean Drye, of Biscoe; brother, Wilburn McLeod, of Biscoe; and step-granddaughter, Hazel Frances Singleton.

The family will receive friends prior to the service on Friday, October 27, from 9:30 - 10:45 am at Macedonia Presbyterian Church, 3269 Candor-Troy Road, Biscoe.

The funeral will begin at 11:00 am at Macedonia Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Matthew Baker officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with masonic rites by Biscoe Masonic Lodge # 437.
