Pearl Stutts Chriscoe

Seagrove - Pearl Stutts Chriscoe, 90, formerly of Seagrove, died Tuesday, June 28, 2011, at Kingwood Nursing in Aberdeen. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, July 1, 2011, at Union Grove Baptist Church, where she was a member, with the Rev. Dr. Ron Chaney and Rev. Grady Blakely officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Chriscoe was born in Randolph County to Hadley and Ida Reeder Stutts. She was a retired textile worker with Burlington Industries. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Bernice Morgan; sisters, Clara Brower, Faye Roddy, Omie Chriscoe, Mamie Chriscoe, Fannie Core, Myrtle Latham; brother, Millard Stutts, Clyde Stutts. She is survived by her daughter, Ann Morgan and husband, Charles, of Seagrove; sister, Dora Lowder, of Albemarle; four grandchildren, Jackie Morgan, Jeffery Morgan, Christie Davis, Jamie Morgan; four great-grandchildren, Jackson, Jacob, Ambria, and Alyssa. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Thursday, June 30, 2011, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star.
