Peggy Dunn Moore

Star - Peggy Dunn Moore, 81, of Hogan Farm Road, died Tuesday, August 5, 2014, at Carolinas Medical Center. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, August 8, 2014, at Main Street Baptist Church, where she was a member, with the Dr. Jeff York and Rev. Martin E. Davis officiating. Interment will be in Dover Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Moore was born in Montgomery County to Lonnie and Leslie Spivey Dunn and was a retired hosiery mill worker. She will always be remembered for being a loving wife and mother and a dedicated Christian woman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Garlton L. Moore. She is survived by her son, Randall L. Moore, of Star. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00 PM - 1:45 PM, Friday, August 8, 2014, at Main Street Baptist Church and other times at 1189 Hogan Farm Road, Star.
