Phillip A. McIntyre Biscoe - Phillip A. McIntyre, 55, died Wednesday, October 8, 2008, at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill. Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m Saturday, October 11, 2008, at the Family Cemetery, Hwy 109 S, Mt. Gilead, with the Rev. Anne Beach officiating. He was a native of Montgomery County and was a construction superintendent. He is survived by his sons, Shane McIntyre and wife, Brandy, Aaron McIntyre and wife, Kim, all of Biscoe; mother, Inez Saunders Lewis, of Biscoe; half-brothers, Art Lewis of Bessemer City, Don Lewis of Biscoe, Larry Lewis of Biscoe, Gary Lewis of Candor; two granddaughters, Chloe and Haleigh McIntyre; one step-grandson, Tyler Patterson. The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 p.m. Friday, October 10, 2009, at Phillips Funeral Home in Star. The family is being served by Phillips Funeral Home in Star.
