Phyllis June Haywood

Phyllis June Haywood, 73, of 33426 Bethany Woods Rd., Albemarle, died Sunday, August 18, 2013 at Bethany Woods Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, August 21, at Biscoe Cemetery with the Rev. James Brown officiating. Ms. Haywood was a native of Tennessee born to Roy and Jessie Mae Smith Bain. She had previously been employed by McRae Footwear in Mt. Gilead. Surviving are her three daughters: Connie Thomas, Georgetown, SC Audrey Richardson, Ellerbe, NC Patricia Hyde, Star, NC three sisters: Beverly Carter, Pelham, AL Brenda Jenkins, Reliance, TN Beth Torbert, Barnesville, GA 14 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sons, Edward and Gerald Hyde, and three grandchildren. The family will receive friends following the service at Jeff's Kitchen.
