Mrs. R. V. Hunt Mauldin, age 82, of 1204 NC Hwy. 109 N., Troy, died Friday, December 25, 2009 at Sandy Ridge Assisted Living. Funeral will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, December 28, at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Charles Lassiter officiating. Interment will be in Biscoe Cemetery. She was a native of Montgomery County and a textile worker. Surviving are: Husband, James N. Mauldin of the home One Daughter: Teresa Greene, Biscoe, Several grandchildren and great-grandchildren The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM, Sunday, December 27, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216, South Main Street, Star.
