Rachel Ann Beane

Star - Rachel Ann Beane, age 67, passed away Tuesday, July 24, 2018, at Autumn Care Nursing & Rehabilitation in Biscoe.

Rachel was born in Montgomery County on July 31, 1950 to Roy Isner Beane and Ruby Nell Greene Beane.

In addition to her father, she was predeceased in death by her sister, Virginia Burns

She is survived by her mother, Ruby Greene Beane, of Star; five sisters, Ella Mae Smith (Jerry) of Seagrove, Nancy Kern (Mickey) of Asheboro, Martha Ward (Eugene) of Star, Susie Hudson (Wendell) of Asheboro, and Joyce McClain (Larry) of Asheboro, and one brother, Ray Beane (Crystal) of Star.

The family will receive friends Thursday, July 26, 2018, from 3:00 - 3:45 pm at Big Oak Church of God and other times at the home of Jerry and Ella Mae Smith, 206 Odom Road, Seagrove.

The funeral will begin at 4:00 pm at Big Oak Church of God with the Rev. Darrell Wright and Rev. Billy Chriscoe officiating. Interment will follow in the Beane Family Cemetery, 2196 Ether Road, Star.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to FirstHealth Hospice Foundation, 150 Applecross Road, Pinehurst, NC 28374.

The family would like to thank all the nurses for the excellent care and concern they gave to Rachel at Autumn Care and FirstHealth Hospice, especially Anna, Shelia, Virginia, and Patty.
