Rachel Cornett Hill

Rachel Cornett Hill, 69, of Seagrove died Friday, February 12, 2016 at Randolph Hospice House.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, February 16, at Dover Baptist Church with the Rev. Chris Bouldin and Rev. Dr. Donald Davis officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Hill was born in Watauga County to Abraham and Airey Love Cornett. She was a member of Dover Baptist Church and was retired from the North Carolina Department of Corrections.

Surviving are her husband, James T. Hill, Sr., of the home; son, Dean Hinson of Rockwell, NC; brothers, Lewis Cornett of Stanfield, NC, Edward Cornett of Unionville, NC, John Cornett of Stanfield, NC; sister, Evangleen Ward of High Point, NC; and, one grandchild.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 - 1:45 pm, Tuesday, February 16, at Dover Baptist Church.
