Ramona Carter Sorenson

Biscoe - Ramona Carter Sorenson, 66, died Tuesday, December 1, 2015, at Randolph Hospice House.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, December 3, 2015, at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jamie Sink officiating.

Mrs. Sorenson was born in Cumberland County to Charles and Evelyn Lamb Carter. She was a sewer with Blackstone Furniture.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lance Sorenson.

She is survived by her sons, Johnny Latham, Jr. and wife, Sue, of Star, Phillip Latham of Biscoe; daughter, Tammy Lewis and husband, Rodney, of Martinez, Georgia; brothers, Phil Carter of Star, Charles Carter of Randleman; sister, Cindy Hussey, of Robbins; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Wednesday, December 2, 2015, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star.
