Rev. Donald "Don" Edward McCaskill

Biscoe – Rev. Donald "Don" Edward McCaskill, age 70, passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2019, in Star.

Don was born in Montgomery County on April 4, 1949 to Claude Alexander and Rachel McCaskill Maness McCaskill. He was the present pastor of Flint Hill Christian Church and previously served at Garden City Baptist Church in Roanoke, VA.

He is survived by his wife, Angie Dagenhart McCaskill, of the home; sons, Andrew McCaskill and wife, Susan, of Staunton, VA and Mark McCaskill and wife, Angela, of Fredericksburg, VA; sister, Kay Rush and husband, Larry, of Greensboro; brothers, Alex McCaskill and wife, Janie, of Troy and Gary McCaskill of Biscoe; step-daughters, Kimberly Blake of Thomasville and April Caldwell and husband, Bobby, of Asheboro; grandchildren, Josiah, Emilie, Moriah, Kevin, Elijah, Dennise Meyers, Kyle Westland, and Norah.

The family will receive friends prior to the service on Friday, July 26, from 9:30 - 10:45 a.m. at Flint Hill Christian Church, 17907 NC Hwy 24/27 E, Biscoe.

The funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Mike Greene officiating. Interment will follow in Biscoe Cemetery.
