Robert Stanford Cagle

Robert Stanford Cagle, Sr., 69, of Asheboro, died Sunday, January 17, 2016 at his residence.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, January 20, at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel, 216 South Main Street, Star, NC with the Rev. Jim Holder officiating. Interment will be in Biscoe Cemetery.

Mr. Cagle was born to Colon Max and Anita McKenzie Cagle. He was a truck driver for forty years where he was awarded the special achievement of "supervisor boss man." He was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving are his wife of forty-nine years, Marie Cathryn Kennedy Cagle, of the home; son, Robert Cagle, Jr. (Teresa Weaver), of Climax; daughter, Angelia Causey (Roger), of Randleman; brother, Colon Max Cagle, II of Eagle Springs; grandchildren, Donald Causey, Starla Causey, Adam Cagle, Emily Cagle; great-grandchildren, Kendra Haney and Maddie Perdue.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM, Tuesday, January 19, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star.
