Robert Franklin "Bobby" East, Jr.

Mt. Airy - Robert Franklin "Bobby" East, Jr., age 47, passed away Thursday, February 13, 2020, at Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. Mr. East was born in Moore County on November 22, 1972, to Robert Franklin East, Sr. and Mary Florina Britt East Jenks. He was employed with Hanes Brand, Inc. His father preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife, Tina Marie Burcham East, of the home; son, Bobby Lee East, of the home; mother, Mary Britt Jenks (Allen), of Pittsboro; sisters, Michelle East of Randleman, Virginia East of Georgia, and Sherry Lee of Low Gap. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 – 1:45 p.m., Tuesday, February 18, at Phillips Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Biscoe Cemetery.
