Rosa Ethel Comer

Asheboro - Rosa Ethel Comer, age 95, formerly of Seagrove, died Tuesday, March 9, 2010, at Woodland Hills Health Care & Rehabilitation Center. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, March 12, 2010, at Union Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Johnny Henderson and Dr. Ron Chaney officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. She was a native of Moore County and was retired from Montgomery County Schools. Surviving are her daughters, Carolyn Dixon of Asheboro, Clarice Brewer of High Point, Wilma Wright of Seagrove; sons, Garland Comer of Seagrove, James Clement Comer of Seagrove, Donald Comer of Burlington; brother, Clifford Williams of Seagrove; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Thursday, March 11, 2010, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star and other times at 223 Williams Road, Seagrove.
