Rosa Jean Davenport Davis

Star - Rosa Jean Davenport Davis, age 82, passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2021, at Autumn Care Nursing & Rehabilitation in Biscoe. Mrs. Davis was born in Pitt County on November 21, 1938, to Edward Stanley and Rosa Lee McRoy Davenport. She was a retired cloth cutter for furniture manufacturing. She is survived by her daughter, Cindy Davis Britt and husband, Randy of Star; son, Jeff Davis and wife, Linda of Star; three grandchildren, Krystle Nooe and husband, Chris, Justin Davis and wife, Brittany, and Felicia Britt; and two great-grandchildren, Holden Davis and Levi Nooe. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 13, at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Chris Bouldin officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Dover Baptist Church, 2527 Dover Church Road, Seagrove, NC 27341. Online condolences may be left at www.phillipsfh.com.
