Ruth Yow

Star- Annie "Ruth" Yow, age 85, passed away on February 9, 2022 at her home.

Ruth was born in Randolph County on April 5, 1936 to Aster and Laura Bell Owens. 

In addition to her parents, Ruth is preceded in death by her son Kennith Yow and sister Lucille Freeman.

She is survived by her husband Coy Yow and daughters Wanda Kay Caviness ( Mickey) of Star and Ann McLeod ( Randy) of Star. Grandchildren Dale Conklin, Brandy Yow Swaney, Nakia Conklin, David Garner, Autumn Yow, Clifford Caviness and Sharona Nance and nine great grandchildren.

Mrs. Yow's body will lie in repose on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Phillips Funeral Home from 2:00-2:45 pm.  A funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Zachary Garner officiating.  Burial will follow at Leach Cemetery.
