Sally Elizabeth Long Shuping

Biscoe - Sally Elizabeth Long Shuping, age 83, passed away Tuesday, August 28, 2018, at Autumn Care Nursing & Rehabilitation in Biscoe.

Mrs. Shuping was born in Montgomery County on July 7, 1935, to Elwood C. and Hazel Christina Burns Long. She was a member of Page Memorial UMC in Biscoe and was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Zeb R. "Jimmy" Shuping, of the home; one daughter, Lori Ann Snell and husband, Kyle, of Nantucket, Massachusetts; three sons, James Allen Shuping and wife, Kathy, of Durham, William Edward Shuping and wife, Pam, of Boone, and Robert Steven Shuping and wife Connie, of Chapel Hill; ten grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, September 1, at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Vic Hill officiating.  The family will receive friends following the memorial service.
