Sara Evelyine Brown

Seagrove - Sara Evelyine Brown, 75, formerly of Adams Road, died Tuesday, June 14, 2011, at Autumn Care of Biscoe. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, June 17, 2011, at Mt. Zion Wesleyan Church Cemetery, where she was a member, with the Rev. Mark Moore officiating. Mrs. Brown was born in Montgomery County to Archie Calvin and Margaret Rouse Lamonds and was a retired hosiery mill seamer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie D. Brown. She is survived by her son, Gary D. Brown, of Seagrove; daughter, Karen Moore, of Providence; sister, Betty Royal, of Candor; three grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Thursday, June 16, 2011, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star and other times at the home of her son, Gary D. Brown, 2428 Chriscoe Road, Seagrove. Memorials may be made to Mt. Zion Wesleyan Church, 445 Mt. Zion Church Road, Seagrove, NC 27341.
