Shirley Mae Johnson Green

Biscoe - Shirley Mae Johnson Green, age 73, died Thursday, October 22, 2020, at her residence. Mrs. Green was born in Randolph County on April 23, 1947 to Lacy Weldon and Hessie Mae Hall Johnson. She was a 1966 graduate of East Montgomery High School, Montgomery Community College in 1982, and was a retired captain from Montgomery County Sheriff's Department with 34 years of service, which included her working in the DARE program and also in civil division. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, W.A., Leonard, and Hoyt Johnson, and sister, Nancy Allen. She is survived by her husband, Allen Green, of the home; and daughter, Wendy Gale Green. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 23, at Biscoe Cemetery with the Rev. Tommy Kidd officiating.
