Shirley Ann Britt Williamson

Star - Shirley Ann Britt Williamson, age 79, passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2019, at her residence.

Mrs. Williamson was born in Montgomery County on October 18, 1939, to William Calvin and Johnsie Virginia Davis Britt. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church and was a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbert L. Williamson, Sr.; sons, Gary Robin and Michael Anthony Williamson; and brothers, Floyd and Boyd Britt.

She is survived by her son, Wilbert L. Williamson, Jr. and wife, Tammy, of Star; sister, Thelma Morgan and husband, Frankie, of Seagrove; brothers, John Britt and wife, Pat, of High Point and Kenneth Britt of Star; granddaughter, Crystal W. Davis, of Star; two great-grandchildren, Ashley Davis and Caleb Davis; two step-grandchildren, Shaun James of Ohio and David Randall McLeod of Star.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 16, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held Thursday, October 17, at 4:00 p.m. at New Hope Baptist Church with the Rev. Gene Davis officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
