Stella Hall Allen

Stella Hall Allen, 63, of Star, died Friday, May 30, 2014 at FirstHealth Hospice House. Funeral service will be held at 4:00 pm, Sunday, June 1, at Guiding Light Baptist Church, 3355 Spies Road, Robbins, with the Rev. Clyde Allen officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Mrs. Allen was born in Montgomery County to Coy and Jeannie Belle Brady Hall. She worked in textiles and was a member of Guiding Light Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband, Billy Allen, of the home; son, Jody Allen and fiancée, Wanda Beane, of Jackson Springs; daughter, Laura Overton and husband, Roger, of Star; brothers, Richard Hall and wife, Becky, of Biscoe, Vester Hall and wife, Beth, of Biscoe, and Jack Hall of Star; sisters, Dianne Hendricks and husband, Junior, of Texas, Treva Aldred and husband, Harold, of Robbins, and Wilma Davis of Star; grandchildren, Katilyn Overton, Holly Fields, Hannah Jenkins, and Chad Jenkins; and great-grandchild, Maci Smith. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm, Sunday, June 1, at Guiding Light Baptist Church.
