Stephen Ray Campbell, Sr.

Troy - Stephen Ray Campbell, Sr., age 64, passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2019, at Stanly Manor Health & Medical in Albemarle.

Mr. Campbell was born in Montgomery County on December 21, 1954 to Jack Calvin and Jessie Lee Haywood Campbell. He was an electrical contractor.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Rebecca Gwen Campbell.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Price Campbell, of the home; daughters, Ashley N. Campbell of California and Amber J. Campbell of Troy; sons, Douglas L. Cunningham of Troy, Stephen R. Campbell, Jr. of Troy, and Adam G. Campbell of Raleigh; grandchildren, Houston Cunningham, Kadin I. Campbell, and Zachariah Cunningham.

The family will receive friends Friday, September 6, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 7, at Biscoe Cemetery with the Rev. Danny Laws officiating.
