Stephen Hoyt Lassiter

Star - Stephen Hoyt Lassiter, age 71, passed away Friday, December 20, 2019 at FirstHealth Reid Heart Center in Pinehurst. Mr. Lassiter was born in Randolph County on August 29, 1948, to Hoyt and Hazel Margaret Wise Lassiter. He was a veteran of the US Air Force, where he served during the Vietnam Conflict and was a retired clerk/salesman with Southern Wholesale in Asheboro. His parents preceded him in death. He is survived by his friends and caregivers. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, December 22, at Leach Cemetery with the Rev. Kay Boone officiating. Military Honors will be provided the Randolph County Honor Guard. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Clear Springs Cemetery Fund, c/o Michelle Surratt, 22872 NC 8, Denton, NC 27239.
