Sue Jane Fields McDuffie

Biscoe - Sue Jane Fields McDuffie, age 70, passed away Saturday, September 22, 2018, at her home.

Mrs. McDuffie was born in Guilford County on November 10, 1947 to Frank Fields and Rosa Thompson Fields Aydelette. She was a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Billy DeWayne McDuffie; step-father, Benjamin Aydelette; brother, Steve Fields; and brother-in-law, Kerry Pierce.

She is survived by her husband, Mark Carter McDuffie, of the home; two daughters, Leslie Allen (Victor) of Eagle Springs and Vickie Sue Quimby (Lee) of Biscoe; one son, Stonmon W. Haislip, Jr. of Troy; brothers and sisters, Peggy Jo Boyd, Rick Aydelette (Martha), Wallace Aydelette (Juanita), Nancy Pierce, and Kelly Aydelette (Treva); sister-in-law, Cherry Lynn Fields; four grandchildren, James "Bobby" Dunlap (Ashley) of Star, Shawn Lockheart of Louisianna, Cheyenne Quimby of Biscoe, Baylee Willis-Haislip of Ohio; great-grandson, Grayson Dunlap, of Star; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to FirstHealth Hospice Foundation, 150 Applecross Road, Pinehurst, NC 28374.

A memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM, Wednesday, September 26, 2018, at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel.
