Mrs. Susie Ann Garner Sheffield, age 67, formerly of 267 Spies Rd., Star, NC died Friday, June 12, 2009 at Autumn Care of Biscoe. Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM, Monday, June 15, 2009, at Providence Chapel Church, 121 Providence Chapel Road, Robbins, with Rev. Allen Mashburn officiating. Interment will be in Dover Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Sheffield was born in Moore County to John Earle and Margaret Marley Garner. She worked as a seamer/sewer in hosiery manufacturing. Surviving are Four Daughters: Helen Sturdivant, Robbins, NC Pansie Phillips, Asheboro, NC Brenda Osborne, Troy, NC Ann Sheffield, Troy, NC Two Brothers: Joe Garner, Robbins, NC Duncan Garner, Robbins, NC Two Sisters: Lucinda Garner, Star, NC Marinda Freeman, Robbins, NC Nine grandchildren The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Sunday, June 14, 2009, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star.
