Swannie Juanita Lemonds Hicks

Biscoe - Swannie Juanita Lemonds Hicks, age 92, passed away Thursday, August 22, 2019, at her home.

Mrs. Hicks was born in Montgomery County on August 1, 1927 to Emsley Clayton and Nancy Ann Chriscoe Lemonds. She was retired from Jeanette Industries

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, Richard and Clifford Hicks; grandson, Lewis Hammer; and 10 brothers and sisters.

She is survived by daughters, Sharon Hicks of Biscoe, Kay Greene of Biscoe, Ann Hammer of Biscoe, and Tammy Blanton of Asheboro; sons, James Hicks of Candor, Thomas Hicks of Candor, and Michael Hicks of Biscoe; 11 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Saturday, August 24, from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 25, at 3:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Clyde Allen officiating. Interment will be in Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
