Teresa Ann Caddell

On December 4,2021, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother Teresa Ann Caddell went home to be with the Lord.

She was born on November 28, 1953, to James Brewer and Juanita Leach Brewer who preceded her in death.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Darrell Caddell; son Greg Caddell (Samantha Greene); daughter Juanita Caddell (Brian Wiles); and grandchildren, Darrick Caddell and Austin Caddell. Step grandchildren, Makala Wiles and Maddison Wiles; stepmom Peggy Brewer, sister Kelly Brewer, brothers Robert Brewer and Scott Brewer (Karen).

Although recently retired, she worked over 30 years at Clayson’s Knitting Company and over 10 years at Carolina Growler.  She was a devoted member of Star First Baptist Church.  Teresa was an avid flea market picker and antique collector.  Her travels were always based around Cracker Barrel locations. She loved spending time with her family and pets.  She especially loved her dogs Kissimee and Cooper.

Teresa’s body will lie in repose from 12-1:30 pm on Tuesday, December 7, at Phillips Funeral Home.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, December 7, 2021, at Leach Cemetery in Star with the Rev. Ralph Smith and Rev. Jimmy Shirlen officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Star First Baptist Church- PO Box 358, Star, NC 27356.
