Tessie Allen Greene

Tessie Allen Greene, age 90, of Biscoe, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on January 1, 2025.

Tessie was born to John Elsie and Mattie Bruce Allen on June 7, 1934, in Moore County. She was the youngest of their 14 children.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Carley Lee Greene and sons Alton Lee and Carley Clifton Greene.

Tessie is survived by her daughter Vickie Greene of Pinehurst, son Loren Greene (Donna) of Biscoe and step daughters Linda Kennedy of Asheboro and Wanda Shuping (Sam) of Troy.

Tessie retired from GE and Black and Decker but remained active as a caregiver for patients in Montgomery County. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother, as well as a dear aunt and friend to many. She will be remembered for her love of gardening and raising goats and dogs.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at Britt-Deaton Family Cemetery at 2:00 pm.
