Theresa Elaine Langdon Martin

Theresa (Teri) Elaine Langdon Martin, 65, of Biscoe died May 4, 2014 at FirstHealth Hospice House, Pinehurst, NC. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday, May 7, at Biscoe Presbyterian Church, Biscoe, NC with the Rev. Dr. Bruce Lax officiating. Interment will follow at Macedonia Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Candor, NC. Mrs. Martin was born October 9, 1948, the daughter of William and Melba Langdon of Harnett County. She was a member of Biscoe Presbyterian Church. She will be remembered for her love of cooking and quilting and for her love for her family, especially her grandchildren. Her friends admired her energy, thoughtfulness, and zest for life. Mrs. Martin was a dedicated Air Force wife for 26 years with a passion for service and volunteer work for young military members and their families. She is survived by her husband, Col. (Ret.) Fred Martin of the home; daughters, Sara Woolley (Rand), Trey and Maggie of Atlanta, GA; Kathy Mandrino (Mike), Levi of Raleigh, NC; and son, David Martin (Diane), Rylie of Colorado Springs, CO; sisters, Brenda Blalock, Kay Tart (Casper), Joan Norris (Danny), and Jan Norris (Dennis). The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm, Tuesday, May 6, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star, NC.
