Biscoe - Virginia Freeman Britt, 80, of 110 Chevy Chase, Pinehurst, formerly of 3061 Tarry Church Road in Biscoe, died Monday, February 20, 2012, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital. Graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, February 23, 2012, at Big Oak Christian Church with the Rev. Hubert McLeod officiating. She was a native of Moore County and was a retired supervisor at Samarkand Manor. Surviving are her sons, Jeff Britt of Biscoe, Andy Britt of West End; 5 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM, Wednesday, February 22, 2012, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star and other times at the home of Jeff Britt, 147 Spring Drive, Biscoe.
