Wayne Moore

Wayne Moore, age 75, of Cameron, NC, passed away on February 14, 2025.

Wayne was born on January 5, 1950, to Alfred Virgil Moore Sr. and Ossie Sanders Moore. Wayne worked for Moen for 20 plus years before retiring.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Carolyn Moore, son Timothy Moore and several siblings; Darlene, Gilbert, Cedric, Mary Lee, Clarence, Marvin, Delsie, Radie, Mamie, Essie, Roy, John, Swannie, Mildred, Alfred Virgil Jr., Betty, Leonard and Roger.

He is survived by a son, Richard Moore (Debra) of Lancaster, SC and two daughters, Angela Moore (Shane) of Kershaw, SC and Amanda Moore of Richmond, VA; and sister in law, Judy Moore. Five grandchildren, Courtney Whitaker and Ryan Whitaker (Bree) both of Lancaster, SC; Colby Faulkenberry (Martha) of Cary, NC; Bradley Martin of Bennett, NC and Trenton Boggs of Sanford, NC. He also had three great grandchildren; Landon, Addie and Brooklyn. As well as long time friend Jack Wooten.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 21, 2025, at 2:00 pm at Brown's Chapel Christian Church with Rev. Shaun Garner officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00-1:45 pm at the church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
