William Ray Cox

William Ray Cox ,68, of Black Ankle Rd., Star, died Saturday October 18, 2014 at Randolph Hospice House.

Funeral services for Mr. Cox will be 2:00 pm, Tuesday, October 21, at Big Oak Church of God with Rev. Chris Boyd and Rev. Billy Chriscoe officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Cox was a native of Surry County NC and a retired brick mason.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Marvin Cox and Mary Lou Bowman Cox.

He is survived by his wife, Nellie Cox, and son, Russell Thompson, both of the home.

The family will receive friends at the church prior to the service from 1:00 - 1:45 pm.
