William Ray McNeill

Seagrove - William Ray "Bill" McNeill, age 71, passed away Saturday, May 27, 2017, at Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro.

Mr. McNeill was born February 6, 1946 in Randolph County to the late Willie Jack and the late Annie Bell (Richardson) McNeill. He was a US Army veteran and a member of Bethel Church of God. He loved to read his Bible and praise the Lord.

He is survived by one daughter, Angela Hastings (Tim), of Seagrove; one sister, Joyce Morton (Jerry), of Troy; one brother, Willis McNeill, of Seagrove; brother-in-law, Charles Lamb; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends prior to the service on Tuesday, May 30, 2017, from 1:00 - 1:45 pm at Bethel Church of God and at other times at 1057 Willie Road in Seagrove.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 30, at 2:00 pm at Bethel Church of God, 1183 Chrisco Road, Seagrove with the Rev. Larry May officiating. Interment will follow in the Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with military honors provided by the Randolph County Honor Guard.
