William H. Reynolds

Mr. William H. "Red" Reynolds, Sr., 82, of 160 Country Club Acres Drive., Troy, died Saturday, May 21, 2011 at FirstHealth Moore Regional. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, May 24, at McCallum Family Cemetery, McCallum Road, Candor, with the Rev. Matthew Baker officiating. Mr. Reynolds was a native of Montgomery County born on March 8, 1929 to Barna "Barney" Bryant and Claudia Revell Reynolds. He retired from Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada, in 1967 after twenty years of military service - four years with the US Navy and sixteen years with the US Air Force. He was also retired from Collins & Aikman. Surviving are his Wife, Betty McCallum Reynolds, of the home. One Daughter: Karen R. Johnson, Candor, NC One Son: William H. "Butch" Reynolds, Jr., Troy, NC One Brother: Bobby B. Reynolds, Troy, NC 3 grandchildren: Zach, Emily, and Tristan 1 great-grandchild: Macie The family will receive friends from 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM, Monday, May 23, 2011, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star.
