Ruby Lillian Auman Owens, age 102, of 308 Harris Drive, Candor,died Tuesday, August 25, 2009 at FirstHealth Montgomery Memorial Hospital in Troy. Graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, August 28, 2009, at Ether United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Jimmy Shirlen officiating. She was a native of Montgomery County and a former hosiery mill worker. Surviving are: Two Daughters: Betty Hall, Biscoe Louise Dunn, Star Five Grandchildren Seventeen Great-Grandchildren Eight Great-Great-Grandchildren The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00 PM - 1:30 PM, Friday, August 28, 2009, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star.
