Edwin Harper Dunlap, age 84, of 205 Emerald Pond Lane, Apt. 205, Durham, died Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at Duke University Medical Center. Graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 24, 2009, at Markham Memorial Gardens, Chapel Hill. He was a native of Montgomery County and was a veteran of the US Marine Corps. Surviving are his wife, Helen Clark Dunlap of Wilson. Memorials may be made to favorite charity. The family is being served by Phillips Funeral Home, 216 North Main Street, Star.
