W. C. Brewer

Troy - William Clyde "W. C." Brewer, age 58, of 337 Substation Road, died Wednesday, March 24, 2010, at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 27, 2010, at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jeff Freeman and Rev. Clyde Comer officiating. Interment will be in Suggs Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.

He was a native of Montgomery County and was a former supervisor at Alandale Knitting Company with 34 years of service.

Surviving are his wife, Jessie Wright Brewer, of the home; son, Vernon Clyde Brewer, of Troy; brother, Roger Brewer, of Troy; sisters, Linda Boone of Eagle Springs, Ruth Atkins of Troy, Clara Gwyn of Robbins.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Friday, March 26, 2010, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star.
